Private Account Settings

What is a Private Account?

When your account is private:

Only approved followers can see your events

People must request to follow you

You approve or deny each follow request

Your profile is still visible, but your content isn't

How to Enable Private Account

• Go to Settings
• Tap "Account Privacy"
• Toggle "Private Account" on
• Your account is now private

Managing Follow Requests

When someone wants to follow your private account:

• You receive a notification
• Review their profile
• Approve to let them follow you
• Deny to reject their request

Approved followers can:

See your public events

See events in shared groups

Interact with your content

Blocking Users

When to Block

Block users who:

Harass or bother you

Send unwanted messages

Post inappropriate content

Make you uncomfortable in any way

How to Block

From their profile:

Visit the user's profile

Tap the three dots menu

Select "Block User"

Confirm your choice

What Blocking Does

When you block someone:

They can't see your profile or events

They can't message you

They can't find you in search

Existing messages are hidden

They're removed from your followers

You're removed from their followers

They won't be notified they're blocked

Managing Blocked Accounts

View and manage all blocked users:

• Go to Settings
• Tap "Blocked Accounts"
• See your full blocked list
• Tap any user to unblock them

Reporting Content

What to Report

Report content that violates community guidelines:

Harassment or bullying

Spam

Nudity or sexual content

Hate speech or symbols

False information

Self-harm content

Sale of illegal goods

Violence or dangerous organizations

How to Report

To report a user:

Visit their profile

Tap the three dots menu

Select "Report"

Choose a reason

Submit the report

Reports are reviewed by our team and appropriate action is taken.

After Reporting

• Your report is confidential
• The user won't know you reported them
• We investigate all reports
• Action is taken based on our community guidelines
• You can also block the user for immediate effect

• Use landmarks instead of exact addresses for preliminary posts
• Share precise locations only in private groups
• Update location details closer to event time
